Small pockets of space. A pause. A breath. A return to yourself.
A Note Before You Begin
On this page you'll find a selection of rituals to explore if you feel called to them. Each is designed to create a small pocket of space — a moment to pause, breathe, and reconnect with yourself.
These rituals are not about changing your skin, but about meeting it with presence and care.
When the body feels safe, the skin can soften too.
Move slowly. Follow what feels right. Let this be time just for you.

The Foundation Ritual
This ritual holds no expectation of results. It asks only one thing of you: to arrive. The intention here is to create safety — in the body, in the skin, in the nervous system — so that softening can happen on its own.
Intention: to create safety, not results.
Before touching the skin, soften the environment. Dim the lights or step into natural light. Sit or stand somewhere warm. Place both feet on the ground.
If it feels supportive: make a cup of warm tea, wrap yourself in a jumper or blanket. Warmth signals safety to the body.
There is no "right" way to breathe. Inhale gently through the nose. Exhale slowly through the mouth or nose. Let the exhale be slightly longer than the inhale. If helpful, place one hand on the chest and one on the belly.
The lungs set the rhythm. The heart follows.
Before applying any product: unclench the jaw, relax the tongue from the roof of the mouth, soften the muscles around the eyes. Let your gaze rest somewhere gentle — not focused, not searching.
In Chinese medicine, the Shen is reflected in the eyes. Soft eyes invite the Shen to stay.
Place a small amount of your Solenne product into your hands. Rub your palms together slowly. Feel the warmth build. Notice the scent without analysing it.
Warm hands communicate safety to the nervous system and the skin.
Apply the product slowly to the face, neck, and décolletage. Use gentle, rhythmic movements. Avoid pulling or rushing. Let your hands move intuitively.
As you apply, silently offer this phrase — or one of your own: "I am safe in my body. I do not need to force healing. It is okay to protect." Let the skin receive — not perform.
When application is complete: rest one hand over the heart. Take one slow breath. Feel the weight of your hand and the warmth beneath it.
The Heart houses the Shen. Nourishment begins with stillness.
There is nothing to "do" next. Sip your tea. Stretch lightly. Or simply sit for a moment. Avoid rushing straight into stimulation.
Regulation happens in the pause.
A Reminder
If your skin or emotions feel reactive, flat, or overwhelmed, it does not mean something is wrong. Your system may simply be protecting itself.
This ritual is not about control.
It is about creating a safe enough moment for the body to soften.
More Rituals to Explore

Begin the day not with urgency, but with gentleness. This ritual uses the Clarifying Herbal Serum to awaken the skin with slow, intentional strokes — activating circulation while inviting the nervous system into a parasympathetic state before the world asks anything of you.
Splash cool or lukewarm water onto your face. Take three slow breaths.
Warm 2–3 drops of the Clarifying Herbal Serum between your palms.
Press gently onto skin — cheeks, forehead, chin — without rushing.
Using your fingertips, massage upward along the jawline and temples for 2 minutes.
Rest your hands over your face for a final breath. Feel the warmth. You're here.

Once a week, give your skin — and your nervous system — the gift of stillness. The Clarifying Herbal Mask ritual is as much about the pause as it is about the clay. This is your time. Uninterrupted. Unhurried.
Prepare your space: dim light, a warm drink if you like, silence or soft sound.
Mix one teaspoon of the Clarifying Herbal Mask powder with water or rose water to a smooth paste.
Apply to clean, slightly damp skin. Breathe in the herbal scent.
Rest for 10–12 minutes. Lie down if you can. Let the clay draw, let the mind settle.
Rinse gently with warm water using soft, circular motions. Pat dry. Notice how your skin feels.

The skin repairs itself at night — but only when the body feels safe enough to rest. This closing ritual uses the Clarifying Herbal Balm as an anchor, a signal to the nervous system that the day is done and it is safe to soften.
Cleanse your face gently. Remove the day without harshness.
Take three slow exhales before you begin.
Warm a small amount of the Clarifying Herbal Balm between your fingertips.
Apply with slow, upward strokes. Spend extra time on areas that held tension today.
Place both hands over your face. Whisper — out loud or quietly — one thing you are grateful for about your body today.
"Healing is not linear. Beauty is not flawless. Ritual is where transformation happens."
