About Solenne
Our vision is to transform skincare into an act of healing, ritual, and self-acceptance.
I know firsthand the loneliness, pain, and loss of confidence that acne and skin conditions can bring. For years I woke up dreading the mirror, cancelling plans, and carrying the weight of feeling “not enough.” That experience fuels my purpose to create products and rituals that don't just treat the skin, but nurture the whole person.
Rooted in Chinese medicine and herbal wisdom, each formulation supports different skin types and conditions while guiding you back to balance. But these products are not a quick fix, nor another cream to try and forget. Each one is paired with a mindful ritual to pause, reconnect, and remember that healing isn't about achieving flawless skin, but cultivating compassion for yourself.
Through acupressure points, intentional application, and reflection, daily care becomes a reminder that you are enough, you are doing your best, and your body is simply speaking. Together, Shannon and Ethan created Solenne with one intention:
to create a space where people feel seen, supported, and held as they reconnect with themselves.

Shannon
Founder · Formulator · PractitionerI’m Shannon, a Chinese Medicine Practitioner who spent years searching for answers to my own skin struggles. Living with acne taught me not only about inflammation and imbalance but about the emotional weight that comes with them the moments of hiding, the loss of confidence, the constant self-critique.
Through that experience, I came to see that skin healing must begin from within: through rest, nourishment, and compassion as much as through herbs and formulas.
After completing a five-year Bachelor of Health Science in Chinese Medicine at RMIT University, which included an internship at the Nanjing Hospital of Chinese Medicine in China, I deepened my understanding of herbal dermatology, internal health, and the integration of Chinese and Western medicine.
Solenne was born from this journey: a space for healing where Chinese medicine meets modern ritual, and where the simple act of tending to your skin becomes a way of tending to yourself.
We don’t chase perfection; we create from acceptance.
Our hope is that through these rituals, you find the same peace and confidence that inspired Solenne to begin.

Co-Founder · Creative Direction · Brand PhilosophyI’m Ethan, originally from Barcelona. I’ve been in Australia for three years now, and I’ve known Shannon for a little over two of those. I chose to be part of this journey because I’ve never met someone so genuinely passionate about supporting others through experiences she has lived herself. The care and intention she brings to Solenne are what make it so meaningful.
We’re not just creating skincare, we’re sharing a perspective. Even in difficult moments, when things feel overwhelming, there can be small ways to begin again. Often, it starts with simple shifts, new habits, a different way of thinking, or creating space for yourself.
At Solenne, we believe meaningful change is often supported through small, consistent rituals. It’s about easing pressure, letting go of perfection, and learning to meet yourself with more understanding.
Taking a few moments each day just for yourself to care for your skin and to pause. A simple daily ritual can become a space to slow down, reflect, and reconnect.
