The Story
Solenne began with a quiet truth.
For years, I woke each morning with a sense of dread — scanning my reflection for new breakouts, cancelling plans, feeling myself shrink. Acne held more than inflammation; it held loneliness, shame, and the ongoing belief that I was somehow not enough.
I tried everything — every cream, every diet, every promise of a quick fix — until I realised what my body had been asking for all along: stillness, nourishment, and compassion. Not more products. Not more pressure. Not more chasing perfection.
My journey through Chinese Medicine reshaped everything. Through five years of study at RMIT and a clinical internship at the Nanjing Hospital of Chinese Medicine, I learned that the skin is a reflection — of the blood, the gut, the nervous system, and the emotional landscape we carry quietly beneath the surface.
Solenne exists to bring you back to yourself. To remind you that healing doesn't happen through perfection, but through presence.

Shannon
Founder · Formulator · PractitionerSolenne was born from Shannon's own healing journey — years marked by acne, inflammation, shame, and the quiet heartbreak of feeling "not enough." Through her five-year Bachelor of Health Science in Chinese Medicine at RMIT University and clinical internship at the Nanjing Hospital of Chinese Medicine, she learned a truth that would shape everything she creates.
Her study of herbal dermatology, internal medicine, and the interplay between emotional and physical health became the foundation for Solenne. Each formula is crafted from experience — not just academic knowledge, but lived understanding.
Shannon also offers short online consultations incorporating tongue diagnosis and dietary guidance, ensuring that each recommendation aligns with your individual constitution and the principles of Chinese medicine.

From the moment he saw Shannon's passion for helping others heal through what she once carried herself, he knew Solenne was more than skincare — it was a message people needed.
